Drivetildriven Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 In my attempts to move on, I've posted profiles on two date sites. I put in what kind of woman I'd like to meet and on both sites my ex's profile was one of the first one's to come up. She's "looking for a stallion." God, I can't get ahead.
Outcast Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 Boy have you ever got bad luck! There's an 'oldie' song about a couple who separated and ended up meeting again through a personal ad. Cute tale - who'da thunk it would happen? I think you can exclude people from the lists of 'eligibles' you get so maybe you can do that so you don't have to keep seeing her profile.
Author Drivetildriven Posted October 5, 2005 Author Posted October 5, 2005 I think I've heard that song, but I doubt mine will have the same happy ending.

About a year ago I cranked up my match account and my recent ( at the time ) ex GF came up in my matches thru my email.. I emailed her out for the hell of it and never got a repsonse.. I'll bet anything I got blocked though..
Author Drivetildriven Posted October 5, 2005 Author Posted October 5, 2005 Just goes to show you how wrong those date sites really are. We were "95% compatible" on one of the sites. Not even close. That's going to be my first two and last two attempts at internet dating. I'll take my chances in the physical world.
