I am sure you have only positive days in your life and never feel sad or any other negative feeling.

Don't bring me into this. I'm just pointing out what really happened. You can be negative all you want.

I believe he's in the right to say what he did. Priorities do change when you're in a relationship and some people do move on. It's life but it also doesn't necessarily mean it's the end.

Usually people say

You mean your girlfriends do this. He's not a female and he's just trying to keep the peace because he didn't want to wade into something you've laid mines all throughout, as illustrated by this post being here.

I think you might hate me for this reply but compassion doesn't always mean you "Have to" agree with the other person but simply acknowledge that you understand what they're going through and then state what according to you is/isn't true/right/wrong etc. (The pat on the back is what usually psychiatrists/psychologists give you  but a true friend/partner should be (mildly) straightforward with you about things)

Based on your reaction, you might want to find a guy that is less blunt/straightforward because you'll feel attacked each time you'll have an argument/topic with him that bothers you (I'm telling you from personal experience because I tend to be very blunt and at times people prefer the pat on the back instead of the harsh truth).

Best Regards

You were pissed off that your friend shifted her time away from you, to her new boyfriend. Now, you're happy that she's broken up and can focus on your friendship again? That's not very nice of you.

Yes Watercolors, misery has always loved company.
