Can you tell if she likes you back? It’s relatively easy. At least she texts you back but it seems like she would want to keep it going and text you as well. Does she act like she likes you? Anytime I liked a guy, he knew.

And yes, looking at a person is one of the most primal ways that we communicate we see someone in a positive light, are curious about them, possibly admire and respect them.
