He text me alittle throughout the night just joking around. Anyway, I was helping my drunk friend out the bar and he left without saying goodbye. I text him this morning, asking him how his head was and 6 hrs later I still haven't got a reply! Shall I just take it as he was just drunk and not interested in talking to me anymore?
d0nnivain Posted November 16, 2019 Posted November 16, 2019 Slow down. At least give the guy 24 hours. For all you know he kept drinking when got home from the bar. He could still be asleep. He could have a massive hang over & be in too much pain to text. He may not remember you. He may be at work. He may be playing a sport with his buddies. All in all, you need to be waaaaayyyyyy more patient. If you don't hear from him by Monday, OK fine give up. But he gets more then 6 hours.

You met a random guy at a bar, you texted him and now I would suggest putting it in the back of your head. Don't send off any other texts and just go on with your life. Continue to date if you're actively doing so. 2

Or go over to him for quick interactions. I suspect he is shy, no ballz type. He texted you probably in hopes you would come over again or invite him over. If he doesn't contact you, then his a bit of a dip s&^% and you dodged a bullet.
