Most excuses sound like " it just happened" - grown-up person can tell if simple HI leeds to something more. Or people just try and justify their actions by not telling whole story. I myself did some bad s...t but I've never cheated, or betrayed anyone despite having multiple occasions. It's like u can tell the same story in many different ways: 1) friends came over for a movie night and I hooked up with a girl that I've known for few months 2) friends came over for a movie night (but I made sure that girl will come with) and I hooked up with that girl that I've known for few months ( but been flirting for last two weeks)
