kendahke Posted November 15, 2019 Posted November 15, 2019 (edited) nothing is ever gone on the internet. That's rule #1. I don't think google is your problem--it's whoever has seen and saved the video for their own amusement and that you can't control. Your best bet is to tell your fiance(e) the truth because that is your Achilles heel--and lying by omission to them will backfire on you when you can least afford it. It's a gamble and things may fall apart, but it would be far worse for you to keep your silence, smile in their face every day knowing this colossal lie is just waiting for an inconvenient time for you to land in the middle of your living room and blow your life apart---this can be avoided by telling the truth up front. They may be mad at you, but at least they can't fling "liar" in your teeth. If you have it in writing from a google employee and the company is associated with that email, then I seriously doubt she'd lie to you with the company letterhead on the email because that's evidence and they're not going to stoop to stupid to get you off their backs. elaine567 Posted November 15, 2019 Posted November 15, 2019 If I was in possession of a highly controversial tape like the one you mention and wanted to "upset" someone greatly with it, then forget Google Drive, forget the internet, I would have multiple copies stashed on hard drives, PCs, tablets, clouds, send emails to myself with it as an attachment, send it to a trusted friend, lock it in a bank vault etc.etc in case it got accidentally deleted.. I would then keep my powder dry until the day of the great "reveal" on whatever media I felt would have the most impact. You are focusing on his Google Drive, but if he really wants to ruin you, then he was never going to leave it there for long anyway.
