Should I double text in this case?

So I met this guy about two weeks ago. Was unexpected as he is my type and we have almost the same personality. We texted everyday up until our first "date" last Friday at a restaurant. It was fun as it lasted four hours. We've texted since then. We last texted on Monday night when he said he was going to sleep and I last said goodnight (he loved the message and that was it). We didn't talk yesterday. So I am thinking of sending him "hey, hope you're good" just don't know if it's desperate or being annoying.

Some people me included don't like texting. To us the idea that you were already texting every day before your date was too much texting. I think that is part of what PRW was saying. You & this guy have a pattern of texting. It worked for you so one more -- that is not a double text -- is not that big of a deal. However do not think you can build a relationship through text

Confused. It’s been two weeks since we saw each other, and it’s just been texting. Like he hasn’t brought it up but still reaches out daily. Idk if it’s because he’s in grad school but I found a comment from a girl on his Insta pic & she was like “my love ” that was four days ago. I looked at his previous pics and she’s been mostly commenting heart eyes. It seems that they’ve been knowing each other since 2011 so I’m just a bit confused now. He stopped texting yesterday. Not going to send anything.

you've had one date in a month, definitely don't ask where it's going. Directly ask him if he wants to meet up if you want to - or just tell you him you don't want a pen pal and good luck out there.
