depcharger Posted October 25, 2019 Posted October 25, 2019 A girl i had met through online dating, exchanged IG's with asked me to buy her premium snapchat. She looks totally plain and innocent unless I am a total idiot never would have thought this innocent goody goody type of female would have a for sale snapchat, where i assume she has sexy pictures and videos I told her i Don't have the app, and lost attraction for her. I thought she was soooo wholesome! I am just bewildered
kendahke Posted October 25, 2019 Posted October 25, 2019 Some people are rapacious. I take it you never laid eyes on her? She was probably a he sitting in an internet cafe in Benin trying to scam you. That is one of their MO's. 1
preraph Posted October 25, 2019 Posted October 25, 2019 It's just the first of many monetary favors she was planning on asking you for or anyone who responds to her. This is just her door into getting paid.
GorillaTheater Posted October 25, 2019 Posted October 25, 2019 Just out of curiosity, what does does something like that go for?
Londy Posted October 25, 2019 Posted October 25, 2019 You told her you don't have the app and you were no longer attracted to her. Those are weak responses. First of all, the app can be downloaded in about 2 minutes and surely she knows that. She doesn't care whether you suddenly lost attraction- she simply wants to sell her product. A better response the next time you find yourself taken in by a scammer is no response. Just block her and go dark. And don't be so gullible! You never even met this girl and you've got all these assumptions about how wonderful she is. It isn't real until you meet. Sometimes not even then.

No one has ever gotten a second chance to ask me for money - messages deleted, blocked, BOOM! Gone. 1
Ruby Slippers Posted October 25, 2019 Posted October 25, 2019 Fellas, beware, lots of scammers online looking for a handout. Save your money for something productive. 1
d0nnivain Posted October 25, 2019 Posted October 25, 2019 Just out of curiosity, what does does something like that go for? I googled it. It is, in fact, a sex thing. It's $25 for the membership & then you pay extra per minute for sex sessions or other prices for custom nudes. It is NOT owned by the actually snapchat people; it's just called that. IMO legitimate snapchat should seek a cease & desist for brand / tradename misappropriation. 2
