............. In addition, you should be cooking dinner for him and baking cookies. Do not skip this very important step. Men love women who feed them ................

Absolutely !!

When I was dating my ex... she really didn't know how to cook, but she went out of her way to make me dinner one night. She even went to the store to buy a few special ingredients. (not common in this region) I found it to be a wonderful gesture, and it's something that has stayed with me.

Why not plan a date, and tell him you will be picking him up, then hand him the keys when you get there. My husband didn't have a car when we first started dating so I just let him drive my car on our dates....it evens things out. I know not for everyone, just an idea.

Update:

So my friends want to meet him and he said sure. Today we are going bowling and for apps with them. Then he will hang out here this evening. :bunny:

I said "I can drive my car if you want to drink. You don't always have to drive."

He said "ok"

I said " if you have to drive half onto my lawn so I can get out it's no problem."

He said "sounds good"

So I think I handled it well and feel better.

My bananas are not yet over ripe to bake him muffins yet but I did buy his favorite chocolate.

Thanks. Everyone had fun and seemed to get along really well.

I paid for our bowling, he paid for our food. He definitely drank a bit more than if he were driving so I will make sure to offer again. He didn't get drunk but definitely took advantage of my offer to drive.
