How do you "take custody" of a child by unilateral decision? What you're suggesting is one of the silliest things I've read on this platform for quite some time. Are you suggesting OP should kidnap the child and go back to his country of origin that, hopefully, is not party to the Hague Convention? I do have to say that a greedy sociopathic woman like that in total control of the finances would be a nightmare.

It's time to get separate accounts and don't put her name on it and don't have the statements sent to your home. I'd find a way to move back to where you initially lived and leave her there with her family. And I wouldn't pay squat.
