udelgirl Posted September 29, 2005 Posted September 29, 2005 hi there! wondering if you all have any ideas on this one.. i met this guy at an art exhibition over the weekend, and we ended up talking for an hour or so, just about everything! his family was there, including his family friends (and a girl who seemed jealous over us talking) yet he tried to avoid them to talk further with me. it was really nice... we exchanged contact information, but i haven't heard from him since... we are both in our early 20s... is he just not interested? he gave me his yahoo instant messenger ID yet he's never online (?)

Author udelgirl Posted September 29, 2005 Author Posted September 29, 2005 it wouldn't be too pushy or freaky if i e-mailed him? his e-mail was on his yahoo messenger profile, when he signed on for like two minutes today. he never personally gave it to me. only thing we exchanged was yahoo messenger IDs...

Send him one that is very short and very general and see if he responds. You said you spoke for a hour or so did he say if he was involved or did the topic not come up?
Author udelgirl Posted September 29, 2005 Author Posted September 29, 2005 ok... i think i'll try the e-mail thing. i'm pretty sure he's single. mainly because the girl that kept eyeing us (maybe his sister? not sure) said "go jon, girls at art fairs would make better girlfriends than a girl at a bar, right?" when i left to use the bathroom... she said it pretty loudly, i definitely could hear. (how embarrassing for him!)
