Super89Rex Posted September 29, 2005 Posted September 29, 2005 Well, you all know my story: http://www.loveshack.org/forums/t70325/ Anyways, today; all of a sudden and out of the blue, she decided to call my house. No one answered, but like 5 minutes later she called my CellPhone and left a message. She stated I had mail from some ING Direct thing; obviously JUNK mail. She specified I should come and get my mail... Why would I want junk mail? And the tone of her voice, seemed like kinda distraught; not like a happy nothings wrong, but kind of discontent.... Now my question is; I have been pursuing N.C since Sep 7 when I last spoke to her; with the exception of leaving a simple message saying Happy Birthday to her on the 22nd. I havnt actually spoken to her since the 7th. Should I even bother to call back? It is very odd because her mom already has asked me for an address to redirect my mail to my new address. Should I even ackknowledge that she called? I dont wanna make it seem like i am avoiding her, what about a simple email saying "I got your message, you can throw away any junk mail; I am changing my address. Hope all is well. Matt" ?? I dont want to ruin all I have worked for with my N.C. I mean, I am talking to a few different girls, working out at the gym a lot and only begun started feeling better about myself now.. I wonder whats going on in her head, maybe her new wonderful life with her drugged up boyfriend is falling to sh|t and she testing the waters or something? It seems just like a stupid excuse to contact me, why didnt she just email me... What do I do! Help!
Art_Critic Posted September 29, 2005 Posted September 29, 2005 Okay.. My 2 cents.. Since you are not practicing NC and don't seem to want to I think that you should call her. If you want to practice NC you have to actually do it.. NC means NO CONTACT.. No smoke signals.. Text msgs, emails, calls, calls or emails thru friends and family.. It means NC Call Her Back .. Keep it light no relationship talk and if you don't hear what you wanted to and get hurt go back and do NC
heartnsoul Posted September 29, 2005 Posted September 29, 2005 a simple email saying "I got your message, you can throw away any junk mail; I am changing my address. Hope all is well. Matt" ?? Doesn't seem like a bad idea. I would definitely suggest the e mail over a return phone call. Good for you that you're getting on with life. Don't set yourself back by calling.
Author Super89Rex Posted September 29, 2005 Author Posted September 29, 2005 It was wierd, it seems like shes making an excuse to call me. She could have very well said I had a broshure from Walmart and Best Buy so come and get them if I want to get the back to school deals.. gosh..
pippen_2k Posted September 29, 2005 Posted September 29, 2005 Dont dwell and look into things to deep Rex, you know it does you no good. Its only mail.. nothing more....
