Today is my birthday and my H agreed on Monday to have dinner with me so we could talk about us. I called him this morning to confirm that we were still on and he says that he doesn't have any gas money to come see me. I offered to give him some gas money. But of course he then said he doesn't really feel like going. UGHHH!! Why the hell make me believe that you want to talk about us and then let me down on my b-day. So now I'm at home on LS on my damn Bday....oh well. I guess it could be worse:rolleyes:

What a jerk! You don't deserve to be treated like that by anyone. I don't know what the circumstances are but I'm sure you realize that this is absolutely the LAST birthday that you have to spend being hurt by him.

 

I'm sure that it's hard to come to terms with the fact that someone that you care for/love?, and someone who you once believed loved you could be so cold and inconsiderate.

 

Again, I don't know your circumstances, but you deserve to be treated better than that.

I wish I were one of those computer savy people who could produce an animated birthday cake, balloons and streamers!!!

Happy Birthday hun!! I am sorry that he never came over and had dinner with you. What an A$$!! I felt the same thing when my anniversary was here on Sept. 9th. I asked him over for dinner and he told me no it would not be right for him to come over. I ended up accepting he was not coming over at all and then he called me at about 8pm that night to tell me he was on his way over. I was excited and confused at the same time. We did have a good talk that night though.

 

I know how much it hurts to have someone you love not celebrate something so special with you. I wish I could have been there to celebrate with you. I hope things get better for you hun and hang in there, I am trying my best to do the same. All we can do is be there for each other and I am here for you as a friend if you need anytime.
