HiCrunchy Posted August 31, 2019 Posted August 31, 2019 Myers briggs is really cool. Learned about this in personality psychology. 2

That's what I got for my most recent test a few months ago. It's cool to take the test occasionally and see how ur personality shifts as u age. 1
Rayce Posted August 31, 2019 Posted August 31, 2019 lol... spot on to what these type of test have said before. My personality type is: Protagonist ENFJ-T lol... 1
eleanorrigby Posted August 31, 2019 Posted August 31, 2019 (edited) I did this a week or so ago and still reading it and amazed how correctly it appears to read me and my personality. I didn't know "eleanorrigby" could be fit so neatly into any box, but I do. (even the flower child avatar looking up in the sky skipping through the flowers is totally me. My family has been calling me flower child forever lol) I'm Mediator INFP-A/INFP-T The strengths and weaknesses are exactly my strengths and weaknesses. It's kind of spooky. Makes me feel like a SIM or program that was installed into this body. The Mediator program. Maybe that's exactly what we are. Edited August 31, 2019 by eleanorrigby 1
MetallicHue Posted August 31, 2019 Posted August 31, 2019 I’ve done these types of tests and they can be a high level description. However I don’t really think anyone can fit into one box. As human beings we are all incredibly complex. For example I have a math type job but feelings are big to me too so borderline T/F. That doesn’t quite fit the mold they have. Regardless I’m very self aware and don’t need a test to tell me who I am. 1
Author Foxhall Posted September 24, 2019 Author Posted September 24, 2019 The adventurer insight given today is "least likely personality type to enjoy influencing the action of others" certainly true for me- let people make up their own minds Im easily amused perhaps- find this type of stuff fascinating.
GorillaTheater Posted September 24, 2019 Posted September 24, 2019 Logician Personality, INTP-A / INTP-T. I don't know that I would have necessarily pegged myself this way, but the strengths and weaknesses part was pretty dead on.
CautiouslyOptimistic Posted September 24, 2019 Posted September 24, 2019 I'm an ISFJ, but not sure what "descriptor" that gives me.
snowboy91 Posted September 25, 2019 Posted September 25, 2019 I took this quite a while ago, and it seemed to explain a lot of what my "real" personality traits are (that is, what feels the most natural when I'm interacting with others). I'm ENFP - Campaigner. Some of the strengths and weaknesses describe me very well - especially the "know how to relax" part - when the time is right, I find I can switch into "relax" or "party" mode way faster than most others can. But I can get emotional and I tend to be quite sensitive to others' emotions. Unfortunately I'm starting to find that my personality doesn't suit my work or my social circle very well.
Blind-Sided Posted September 25, 2019 Posted September 25, 2019 I'm the Protagonist. But with that said... like many of these tests, I found the questions are bad. One of them is "you make decisions on a whim" (or something like that) But are they talking about... "I want ice-cream"/"yes, I will have a beer."... or... "I'm buying a Ferrari." ???? There were others like that, and I had to just check the middle bubble.
amaysngrace Posted September 25, 2019 Posted September 25, 2019 It says I’m an Adventurer. Yea....maybe....

I am a protagonist too and I found that I was checking the middle bubble most of the time for the same reasons. lol...
RecentChange Posted September 25, 2019 Posted September 25, 2019 Meyers Briggs! I find the test and the categories interesting. We did talk about this test in psyc classes in college, and I have heard some employers use it as well. Others say it's hooey.... I am a ESTJ which on this site they call "the executive". I have to say the work place habits section of this particular site are pretty dead on when it comes to my work persona. And the career path I have followed (project manager etc) fits my personality well. Okay the relationship part is dead on as well. Oh and the strengths and weaknesses as well..... Hahaha yeah they got me. 1

And exceptionally open-minded as well I see. Don't worry, you can still retain individualism and belong to a category. Perhaps you'd be more comfortable as a Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, or Slytherin as determined by the sorting hat? Reminds me of the stable genius declaration!
