Some of these guys do want to hang out at my house but without my dad being home and I didn’t think my dad would be home right away on one occasion. I know it’s just hard to understand what they mean or why they say “you don’t look bad “ or “I didn’t find you unattractive “ after they met me in real life when they found me beautiful before meeting me. Idk if I’m putting them on the spot somehow so that’s why they give me those responses or what.

You ARE putting them on the spot and making them feel weird. So stop it! Insecurity is not attractive. So at least learn to pretend you are not. Also, guys may take that the wrong way, like She's so conceited, she's fishing for compliments. It's not proper to put people on the spot asking them, especially early on, if they think you're attractive. It's not proper. Be polite and don't be looking for trouble.

You mean learn to pretend I’m not insecure? Sorry I read that wrong for a sec.

Why do you keep playing what they said over and over in your head?

They aren’t that important and you’re giving their words way too much power. I could see if they were nice guys who one time said something that offended you MAYBE, but some of these guys don’t even have the decency to see a date through.

Stop making what they say or how they act matter so much. Usually only people with some serious character flaws treat others like garbage.

I’m still wondering why you think someone saying they want to put a baby in you is some kind of flirty compliment. It means all they want is sex. You know that, right?

Personally I’d be thankful that for whatever reason some fckboy stopped trying to use me for sex and bailed on our date, but that’s just me.

There is no panacea for the dating stage in life. The best you can do is tilt the odds in your favor by using your experience and a firm knowledge of the type of person you want to be with. That knowledge will allow you to see the red personality flags and to know which environments to frequent so that you have the highest rate of success.

The very public exposure of your job is very fertile ground for dating if you can turn it that way.

Think of dating like a job. Some mornings you are eager to take on the day and other mornings you want to stay in bed. This goes on for maybe years and then one day the boss gives you a promotion and you are back to leaping out bed every morning.

I appreciate the encouragement:) but I don’t know what to think about the dates that have said I didn’t find you unattractive “ “you don’t look bad” comments I got from some of these guys or the guy that said there was no second date with me cause he thought he was too good to date a thick girl but yet I had recent pics of myself and he still went on a date with me so I don’t get it. He told me he just wanted to give everyone a chance I geuss.

If you had your way, how would this all go and what would it take to make you happy?
