A habit of messaging at her convenience and disappearing for prolonged periods when she had better things to do was also common. For me, I would find at least some time to talk to her, busy or not, because I knew what my priorities were. Your earlier message pushed me to do what should have been done ages ago. I have had her on my IG for a long time now, even post break up even though we don't talk anymore at all, but I finally deleted her off my follower/following content. Thank you for sharing and for the input. I'm really glad to hear it. Well it sounds like you have a similar problem as I did (And still somewhat do). I too managed to surround myself with people who treated me like your ex did you, in the past for a very long time. Even friends. It was actually that relationship that I mentioned to you that was the turning point for me. I became so burned out that I was forced to prioritize who really mattered and who didn't. After that, I actually distanced and cut a lot of people out. Simplified my social life over the next few years. Now, life is a lot simpler and now I can pick out these people very quickly and keep them at bay. So, in the end, I gained insight into myself from those years of crap I had to deal with and the wisdom I took from it, I used to make my life better for me. I learned to say no, I learned to walk away. I learned to value myself more. So what appears to be a miserable time for you right now, can actually be an opportunity in disguise to spot your personal flaws or demons which are often obscured by life and the soup of emotions that come with it.
