I've been struggling with this ever since it entered my head. I am not promising it will help but I don't think it can hurt you.

The idea is to put in your profile that you are a big fan of Jane Austen and just love her books especially "Pride and Prejudice." Just mention it casually.

Of course, if you get some hits then you will have to actually read the books assuming you have not read them.

Good hunting

I am of the opinion that if you have to resort to those kinds of measures then you really should give up.

There's a certain concession you have to make that most of the more attractive women on OLD either are bots, flooded with messages, or just on there for an ego boost.

I feel I'm a pretty handsome guy with decent pics, but even then 90% of the likes I get are from women I feel no attraction to whatsoever, and another 5% from fake accounts. Most of the meet-ups and conversations are from likes I've sent, not from a woman liking my profile. Have to be active to get anywhere on OLD.

It really is a numbers game at the end of the day, unless you get lucky.

OLD has been as a whole great for me. You get out of it what you put in. Put in decent pictures (use a site like photofeeler.com to find your best ones), use some entertaining lines, and set up a date quick in the conversation process. I've met a lot of great women and one I'm currently waaaaaaaay too smitten with but she seems to like me too. I have met some flakes but you would probably meet them just the same at bars, grocery stores, etc...
