I didn't tell him I saw the texts with his friend about his ex. I don't want anyone knowing that's the main reason I tossed him out. I just told him we are too different and we can't get along anymore. His response was "Thanks a lot for making me look like a fool to everyone." How ironic that he sees himself as the fool here. Locks have been changed, though I got my key and garage opener back. I made sure to go to his job to tell him it was over because I knew he wouldn't cause any scenes. He's blocked and he's never been the type to come around and stalk. So now it just a matter of healing and thanking God I didn't wait around to possible be left for his ex. Thank you all for your responses and help! 7

You did that very smartly and congratulations on handling it so well. I like that you didn't tell him you saw his texts because now he can just assume it's just him being the way he is. Glad you changed locks and all. Well done! If you get lonely here for awhile, just know you can always come here and just talk or vent.
