Yes its OK to ignore the message. 10.30pm "I'll just pop round tomorrow" umm no. Responding to that and yes whatever you say. No. So I think you've handled it well by ignoring the message, respecting his wish not to contact him again, and also helps you not having to see him, text him or let him come to your house.
