Where to take a new girlfriend

Hi,

i am just about to acquire a new girlfrined as you myt have read and i was wondering what places do you girls like to be taken to. I know places like cinema and stuff but is that a little boring now or should i just take her there anyway??

Please bear in mind that i am shy until ive had a couple of pints lol

I am also supposed to be this cool upper 6th form college guy(coz the girls in year below think im cool because im school football captain etc.)

please help me

I like dates to parks... not little kids' playground parks, but National Parks or State Parks where the scenery is beautiful.. maybe some hiking and some picturesque waterfalls... greenery..... wildlife. While walking/hiking around the park you can talk to them and really get to know them. Take a camera and take pictures of her- make her feel special. We have this city park here with an enormous rose garden. My date and I walked around and picked out roses that we would like to have a picture of (though neither of us thought to bring a camera!) If she has a dog, try going to a dog park. My friend really loves to do that with her boyfriend.

 

Going to the movies isn't a great idea for a first date because you sit without talking to the person for two hours. Also, food dates aren't ideal because you might feel insecure about eating in front of him so soon. Coffee dates are nice, though, maybe with a muffin or scone- something light.

 

Going to a book store is also cool. (And I am not really talking about the big chains, though I guess that would work too if the alternative isn't available. I guess a plus to the big chains is that they usually have coffee shops inside- so it's kind of like a two-for-one). But anyway, we have small little book stores (and one that's not so small-- 32 rooms-- in this quaint little village with brick streets in the middle of the big city... totally awesome date place), and these little book stores are great places to get to know the other person- what interests them by what books they choose to pick up and leaf through.

thanks for the reply, yeh i like the sound of the walking the dog thing as she has a dog. It would no longer be a proper first date as i met her a cppl of nights ago and got with her if u know what i mean but yeh thanks for your ideas
