You took your car to see him in March and we all told you to find another mechanic. Now you're taking it back to him again in May and still complaining about his behaviour.

Rather than questioning his behaviour, ask yourself why you're bringing your car to him even though you know how he will behave.

Just move on. Cut him out of your life and he probably won't even care after a day or two. It's not your problem and it's not your problem to fix. And you said so yourself that you are done so... You're done.

He isn't respectful because he doesn't respect you, it's that simple. The comment about "wear a skirt ...." sounded like he was addressing a Prostitute. Why would you want him as your mechanic or to be your friend when you know he doesn't respect you? Raise your standards.
