darkrai100 Posted May 2, 2019 Posted May 2, 2019 So I went out with a girl yesterday, and I’m wondering if it’s a date or not, or if she’s actually interested in me. Basically, I met her at an event a while back. I immediately started texting her but began noticing that we can’t seem to get a conversation going. I’m not a particularly good texter, but it doesn’t help that she’s a conversation killer either lol. Although she’ll always reply to my texts within minutes. And it’s not like we don’t have anything in common.....she just hardly asks any questions at all. It’s very one-sided with me doing all the asking and her answering very briefly. It got so bad that I almost gave up texting her at one point, but my friend convinced me to give it one last shot and ask her out, to which I did and led to today’s date. In-person, it’s almost the same thing. Lots of awkward silences, and not a lot of question-asking on her end lol, but I did notice she’s really touchy and wanted to share food and drinks with me throughout our date. Is she actually interested in me? Is this texting thing an area of concern? Please advise
Marc878 Posted May 2, 2019 Posted May 2, 2019 The worse thing you can do is pursue some one who’s not interested in you. From what you’ve posted it doesn’t seem like there’s anything there. Some just don’t text. Stop text pestering her and ask her out again if you’re interested If she’s not interested you’ll know. If so move on and stop wasting your time
