How much of a numbers game is randomly approaching women?

Let's say you approach a girl at a bar, gym or a store or something and you do a good job with the overall interaction, what's your chance of turning that into a date?

Do you need to approach 8 to 10 women to get 1 date out of it?

How long is a piece of string?

Let's make it about you rather than being general. Let's start with why a woman would want to date you. What makes you stand apart from all the other respectful, caring, well presented employable men out there? Specifically, how good are your social skills and what does your social life look like?

the assumption here being that you do a good job and you're likable and genuine around her and have some kind of decent chemistry

My social life is excellent. My life overall is fantastic

Then it all depends on whether or not she's single and wants a relationship. It also depends on whether or not your her type. I can't begin to guess at numbers because I would never have gone out with a random who approached me.

Anyway, if your social life is excellent, why are you approaching random women? Approaching random women is the stuff of guys who don't have the kind of social life were they can meet women. Just get chatting at one of the social events you go to.

I have very specific standards and the women I meet socially are nowhere near my type.

Methinks this is another post by the exact same guy who keeps posting about being so awesome but unable to get dates. Maybe you need to see a professional instead of posting on internet forums?

Sorry if I’m jumping to conclusions, but...it seems apt.

Totally the same "Can't find anyone good enough online / Moving to Armenia to pick a bride / only gays find me attractive" guy.

Wear a sign on your forehead that you earn $180K. Perhaps that will work.

YES, I was just thinking the same. Making more sense why he has trouble finding a 'suitable wife'
