Its two separate lives. And personally, I am okay with that. I dont feel I have to have all of him.

No, but you deserve to have all of him. Maybe not this lying/cheating man, but if you chose to place your trust in a man and give him your heart - you deserve to have all of him. You should expect nothing less from the man you would choose as your life partner.

I hope that’s one of the things you learned from this experience...

I’m not hurting

There’s no withdrawals

Just at peace. I love him, I always will but I need to let go.

There wasn’t a fight or boundary. Just a slow drift...

My experience wasn’t one of empty promises or hightened emotions. Maybe that’s why I’m okay? It was about healing and growth. He and I are on like journeys but separately. We have something we nees to prove to oursleves.

LL, from your original post as well as more recent ones it sounds like your handling the end of your A quite well. Many do not fare nearly so well. Good for you...

Sure, someday... when I want that.

I’m not looking for that right now anyways.

It feels like others may jot be satisfied until I cry, blame myself, wallow in pain and beg for forgiveness.

I love him, I truly do. But I am at peace with everything. I will miss him occasionally but I don’t feel the need to feed negative emotions.

Just move on with life.

To be fair, LL, this is something of a rarity in this section. At any rate, glad you are able to move on effectively. Ending these things is almost always for the best.
