Okay well, everyday after I finish college I go to the trainstation and get the train back to my town, where I live. Now, I met this really nice girl there that I could definitely see myself being with, if not that, a friendly relationship at the absolute least.

Now, I wouldn't be making this fuss if I could send a proper signal back. Yes, I am a guy, but I CAN tell when somebody is checking me out. I do things very subtly, such as looking at things with the corner of my eye. When we've been near each other, she looks straight into my eyes. Even when she's half the platform away, she's been turning around from her friends and just glancing straight at me. Hell, other times when I've been on the train reading a paper, she's on the platform, staring right at me!

For the past few months, I've been spotting her at the station while I've been on the train. On some rare occasions, we're both there on the platform before any train arrives. Unfortunately, I have been acting like such a real jerk around her. You could say I get nervous and I try to avoid eye contact at all costs. But I'm so annoyed with myself that I haven't been sending the right signals to her, I've glanced at her and looked away, at some times, I've been in a situation to start a good conversation with her, only to walk away in the opposite direction with some of my other friends.

The problem is that my train leaves before hers, so quite often I get there before she does and I'm on the train packing while she's sitting and waiting for hers. Sometimes she's there by herself, other times she's talking with some friends (that are also my friends too).

It would seem so obvious and out of character for me to just waltz on out there and begin chatting. So when I arrive at the station, I tell my friends to hold up and wait for "insert name here who also gets the train." which actually often works as a stalling technique so I can wait for her to arrive. I don't know what to do.
