waitingwaitingonyou Posted September 21, 2005 Posted September 21, 2005 Ok....Was at work...My phone ringed. I didnt anwser it because I was really busy. I have been in NC since the day me and my ex broke up (Almost 2 months, she broke up with me for another guy, yes there still together ) It was my exes parents....They were just checking to see how I was doing. They said that it was really wierd that they have not heard from me in two months. And that they missed my voice. She also said that she really hoped that she would see me sometime. I dont know if my ex knows that we talked but I dont understand why in the heck her parents would call me? They also asked how I was doing and If I was moving home anytime soon. I said no that I really liked it here. I actually havent thought about my ex in a couple days. I was very nice on the phone. My exes parents have done alot for me and I really appreciated what they have done for me. Isnt that like a slap in the face for my ex? Her parents calling me...If my mom did that to my ex I would be pissed! Dont understand quite why they would call? Dont really care about my ex anymore.....I will never be with her again...Hell would have to freeze over! THE M.M.L.
NTB Posted September 21, 2005 Posted September 21, 2005 maybe they really just like you.....don't read to much into it or anything my x's mom calls me all the time i finally told her it was kinda weird for me to talk to her and she told me not to worry she just really liked me as a person and even if me and her daugther didn't work out she would still like to have me as a friend so now she is my e-mail buddy go figure.

She might think that she can keep you interested by staying in contact in the hopes her daughter has a change of heart. Kinda strange though. You seem to like her so just go with it. Make sure you never mention your ex and if she does tell her that in no way are you interested in getting back with her.
