How many ladies consider it a dealbreaker if they come to find out a guy has a habit of not reporting pain accurately to the doctor? Like he underreports pain as a 3 when it is really a 7.

Is this just a minor thing a lady can overlook? Which would be a dealbreaker? A guy who puts off going to the doctor when he is sick or has something suspicious like a change in mole color/growth on neck? Or the other extreme of a guy who is a hypochondriac and goes to the doctor for everything when he could treat himself at home?

I ask this question because it seems like in America both extremes are a common problem. I am interested in the potential impacts on dating relationships.

men the world over have some aversion to going to the doctor. I am under the care of two doctors for various maladies and I seen one every 2 months and the second every 3 months. Its the only reason why I've made it to 54 and can still date and have occasional erections :lmao:

hahahaha my husband complains about pain ALL THE TIME and refuses to do anything about it, like not even take a tylenol...he seems to think he just needs to suck it up and work it off. Ieeeeyiyieeee! It's a man thing. He's like that when he's sick too which isn't a bad thing. Most men I know act like they are frickin dying.

As for pain, I was (recently) at the dentist getting two new caps and my dentist was grinding and drilling and drilling and grinding. At one point, she stopped and asked if I was in pain. I said "no"... She told me she knew I was lying and gave me another shot of Novocaine. She then said "Why do you men lie about being in pain, I can easily give you another shot of Novocaine??" She just shook her head and continued (after the numbing agent had taken effect).

I guess I would have looked weak (in front of my female dentist) if I had admitted I was in pain and desired more numbing agent.

After so many years of being in practice, I think my dentist can easily tell when she is hurting her male patients and quickly solves the issue.

As far as going to the doctor, when sick... I haven't done that since 1991. I'll just tough on through whatever is thrown at me.
