lost_in_chgo Posted September 21, 2005 Posted September 21, 2005 it was "all of the above" for Uncle Fester. and i agree about the hair situation. if your hair description is more than one of the selections offered, pick one and let the photos do the rest. what just kills me is a guy who checks "blond" and shows a picture with a full head of hair but he clearly has NONE when it comes time to meet. I like the Age:35 and the picture is clearly in upper 40s, or rode hard and put away wet, either way 35 it aint. I like the ones that put only a swimsuit pic up and the say "don't tell me I look great because it just proves you are shallow and superficial." (That's an actual abridged quote)

(That's an actual abridged quote) Unabridged quote: "I've got it, and I like to flaunt it in full-on fashion. I expect, however, that you show discretion, taste and intelligence in your appreciation of 'it'.....so don't tell me I look great because it just proves you are shallow and superficial. Tell me you're drawn by my wit, intelligence, style and je ne sais quois. Then you are permitted to comment on how stunning I look."
Author housebaby Posted September 21, 2005 Author Posted September 21, 2005 What I'm saying is: A person should WANT & CHOOSE to be in a relationship. They should already be ready to be happy with or without another person to make them feel good inside. Happiness is a choice, we all know that. People choose to let the ups and downs of life get to them. I want someone who already has these coping skills. Someone who doesn't have CODEPENDANT tendancies. A person should not NEED to have a relationship to make them happy, or "complete". I don't want someone to make us in to "one" .. we should be 2 people who's personalities compliment each other, and bring out the best in each other (yes) but we should shine on our own as well. The reason I put this on my list is because I met too many men who seemed all good at first: then told me things like "You complete my life" "You are so happy, it makes me happy" then, when I leave - they are miserable! I have to plan everything, I have to be there for them to smile! who wants to talk to someone who is gloomy whenever you are not there? Their happiness should NOT depend on their partner. So yes - I don't want to babysit - or have a 'needy' partner. No matter how you all read into this: it's simple...and it's what I look for...no need to get into symantics.
Author housebaby Posted September 21, 2005 Author Posted September 21, 2005 In other words, you want to buy a BMW and "make a car" of it. I understand perfectly what you're talking about and I actually agree, but it's too good to be true. The balance of two extremes is what makes things and people real (and fairly good). If you run onto a guy who is all miserable, he might stay like that with you. But if you run onto a guy who has a great life without you, he is likely to not need you at all. Exactly - I don't want anyone to NEED me. I have an 8 year old daughter who NEEDS me....And that is totally natural and normal. These men have thier own mothers they can NEED. They shouldn't require me - they should WANT me. Yes they should be happy with me, but all happiness should not REQUIRE me to be in the room.
Woggle Posted September 21, 2005 Posted September 21, 2005 I have everything I am looking for. I am happy when I am not with her but I canlt deny that she enhances my life and makes me happier.
Author housebaby Posted September 21, 2005 Author Posted September 21, 2005 Yes. Thank you Woggle. Oh, and here is a link to the kind of guy I find attractive: So HOT! Tall, Black hair, brown eyes, great smile. Some men have that "twinkle" in their eyes (can't explain it, but it's hot) - and long eyelashes! Mmmmm....makes me melt from the inside out!
Jadey Posted September 21, 2005 Posted September 21, 2005 ^Damn! Hes gorgeous lol. Ok in no order.. Maturity - I cant deal with immature guys, no way. Conversation - I want to be able to have a proper good deep convo with a guy. If he has no good communication skills i prob wont be interested. There is nothing worse than a guy that just doesnt speak!! Romance - Its the little things that count. Talking under the stars, a random text message saying "i love you", roses, things like that When thew guy im kinda seeing (sonfusing) gave me a rose i was like awwwww and he deffiently scored some points lol! Must want kids someday Sense of humour Passion - When i say passion a passion for anything like music, a hobbie. Attracive - Obv you want your partner to be attractive, but its not all THAT important Good in bed

UCFKevin Posted September 22, 2005 Posted September 22, 2005 I look for someone who looks comfortable in their own skin and doesn't try to be something or someone she isn't. Someone who accepts me for me and enjoys it and can take my jokes and such. Someone in shape, light eyes, dark hair, the girl next door kinda look, laid back, easy going, etc.
LoopyLola Posted September 22, 2005 Posted September 22, 2005 Right now, I just want someone good looking, intelligent and unpretentious who I can go out and party hard with. It seems since I hit 25 all my friends have gotten in 'series' relationships and no one wants to go out and get loaded on the weekend anymore. It doesn't help that we're all working for big finance companies - I'm surrounded by squares! I get asked out by these squares quite often but I just want the bad boy. Of course this is a recipe for trouble but I'm not looking for a husband, just someone to muck around with. I'm sure in 10 years I'll regret this...
megabit15 Posted September 22, 2005 Posted September 22, 2005 wow, yew sound like yew wood be a perfeck match fer me. Maybe we culd privit mesage eech udder in a mesage sumtime. lindya Posted September 22, 2005 Posted September 22, 2005 Intelligent, good-humoured and laid-back. Someone who "gets" you. As far as physical type goes, I've never had a blueprint - but I do have a weakness for eyes that always seem to have a hint of a smile in them.
