We exchanged numbers and snaps because we're both from the same state and live about 40 mins away from each other. Well we're both back home now and I shot her a text today asking if she wanted to meet up again this weekend and she said she already has plans but might be free soon and she'll let me know. Is that just code for "leave me alone" ??What should I do here? Should I just assume she's not interested?

You should not assume your weekend of good time on spring break ... equals genuine interest in you beyond the weekend of good time on spring break. Hooking up could have been a "splurge" for her ... most likely she isn't sure whether you just wanna hook up again or if you're interested in more. You put in the followup, that's all you can do ... One of the cruel lessons of life ... lots of amazingly fun vacation flings don't travel one mile past the location of the fling. 1

Otherwise, if she had plans and DID want to see you, she would have said "I have plans this weekend, but may we meet on (date)?" You should take no further action. However, my opinion, which differs from most here, is that it never hurts to send a second follow up text. If she doesn't reply after a week, you could send a text saying, "Hey there, I'm planning to go to (date venue) this next weekend. It would be fun to go together. Let me know if you're interested."

Should I just assume she's not interested? Well, it isn't the kind of message I'd send a guy I liked and wanted to see again. I would have suggested a day that did work for me. I wouldn't reach out again. You'll know soon enough if she's got any interest.
