What are signs a guy is genuinely crazy about a girl?

There is no way to ever know for sure until you’re dating and seeing each other all the time. And even then who knows. Don’t worry about it. Take it day by day.

"Constant" texting is a bad sign IMO. There need to be boundaries & autonomy. The need to be in constant touch especially early on is clingy & over the top. Don't people have jobs & lives?

 

Taking somebody out to dinner is normal. There is nothing special about this. It IS dating.

 

What are these things that "show they're very serious"? Opening doors, sending flowers, & listening are all part of having good manners. These behaviors should be the minimum floor for dating behavior, not some sign that the person is genuine.

 

The true measure of the other person's intention is time plus how they act in times of stress & need. Are they supportive of you when you are struggling? Do they turn toward you, rather then pull away, when they are stressed?
