Sounds just like a few posts from another user who was posting under different names... university, no relationship, acting defensive and repeating questions. This user posted as a different person a few times and admitted as such.

This sticks out to me with the university setting and non-relationship but looking at each other and getting mad because the other didn’t respond.

Op - this isn’t you, is it?

Trust me, she's not that great. There are billions of women on this planet, you'll find another one who is really awesome. Even though it feels like you won't right now, you absolutely will.

Kindly leave the thread if you cannot help. You people give wrong answers and make judgements then you come thinking every post which may have happened when people were young must be someone who posted before.

If you cannot answer then don't bother.

I did not really ask if I should find other women.

What stops you from confessing your feelings for her and asking her to leave her boyfriend for you? Are you afraid she would reject you? Or you have high morals about stealing some guy's girlfriend? Which is it? Be honest.

I asked her about our old times together and she cried. Yesterday, I asked her again and apologised as well but she cried again saying she waited for so long and was so miserable.

I dont know how to proceed.

She liked you back in the day. You toyed with her emotions & broke her heart. She continues to look at you with hearts & stars in her eyes, because she remembers the crush she had on you. Intellectually she knows she can't trust you. You hurt her in the past & she doesn't want that to happen again.

She also has a BF. They have been together 8 months. That is no where near long enough to be living together so your argument that it's not serious because they don't live together is erroneous. They are on a good pace. You & your whirlwind idea show that you are still not as stable as you claim to be or as stable as she needs you to be.

She cries because she is torn between what she has with the BF, what she longs for with you & the reality that if she breaks up with her BF to be with you, based on your past behavior she's only going to get hurt again. '

If you have truly changed & matured & are now a good guy, back off. Let her date her BF. Stop tempting her. At some point in the future if you are both single, then you can try again. But not now. Do not be a homewrecker. Now stop trying to lure her away. You come across like the child who only wants the toy because somebody else is playing with it. Face it. If you came back & she fell in to your arms (bed), you'd be bored in a few weeks anyway.

Why did she cry ?

We can't answer that definitively.

My guess is that because she was remembering the pain you caused her. It's not a good sign.

You’re finished.

You played your games with her. You had your fun now the reality has sunked in.

Find another woman, and don’t make the same mistakes. You only get one shot, per girl, per lifetime.
