Whoever on here that knew that they were NOT the favorite child name a situation or two that you remember from childhood and up to now. ???

I felt like I wasn't the favorite but now that we're adults I see it's more that we're very different and we relate to our parents differently, we need different things from them.

I was the girl child in a cultural context that strongly favours boys. Incidents - there were many, throughout, but I used them to motivate me to succeed in spite of being the least favoured. It can be a blessing rather than a curse. My brothers expected life to hand them everything on a plate, and got knocked back really hard when it didn’t. I expected nothing and made opportunities for myself. I consider that a win.
