Flamingochicken Posted January 24, 2019 Posted January 24, 2019 Couple of weeks ago I met a cool guy, had one date with with lasted almost 24 hours! It was a lot of fun and really A LOT of fun - no awkward silence, just non-stop laughing and a lot of attraction. We spoke afterwards (we still do) although the frequency after the date did get down a bit often - fine for me tho. I asked him how he was and he said that he was really busy, didn't do much and was working extra shifts. I asked him if he would catch up after his crazy shifts and he said: Yes sure! Sounds fun. I''ll let you know when I'm free In the country where I live we get the rota for work every week which makes it sometimes very hard to plan when you're free or not so it could be genuine but I'm just not really sure about this as I have no experience with a guy answering like this. What do you think? And yeah - obvious, I don't come around and be like the next day 'Hey, free yet' - that's cray. I give a person at least two weeks.

But I would recommend being more of a challenge. There's no rush. You don't have to give him everything in one day. If he wins you over too easy, he's going to lose interest. But I think you're right, I wouldn't keep texting and asking. Let him bring it up because to be honest, and we only have your side and limited info, it sounds like he's making up excuses.
AriesDude Posted January 25, 2019 Posted January 25, 2019 yeah I agree with TheFinalWord. Can be an excuse or he needs a little time to figure out his schedule but very little info so hard to really know. Don't wait 2 weeks though, that is too long and you will build up too many expectations. Try 48 hours. If he hasnt messaged and tried to make plans after that super nice date then he probably wont ask you anytime after that either.
smackie9 Posted January 25, 2019 Posted January 25, 2019 Put him on the back burner and date other men.
