Hi, I'm the type of guy who easily gets a crush on someone new I met. This is really bad for me, 'cause if I like someone, I suffer from depression a lot. I can't help myself but to miss that person, and always wants to be in her company. I hate the feeling of wanting someone, but can't get her. Is this normal for someone like me? (age 17, male), and if it is, how can I control this "depression" I'm having ?

It's healthy to have crushes, but not so healthy if you 'need' that crush to make you feel good about you all the time.

This just comes with age, and self confidence but one thing you need to do is be happy with who you are, alone. You shouldn't have to rely on anybody for your own happiness, that's alot of pressure to put on somebody and also, from a woman's point of view, can be scary if she's on the receiving end of the crush.

To control the depression you feel, maybe try a new hobby, do sports, and hang out with your friends...The busier you are, the less you have time to sit and focus on the girls...

Hope this helps.
