regretfulgirl1 Posted December 9, 2018 Posted December 9, 2018 read this article https://www.bolde.com/almost-left-love-life-ego/ this is exactly how i was to my ex. together for almost 8 years.. i ruined it all i dumped him twice in 8 years.. he came over, and was still as friendly as could be even though i was a total heartless cunt to him. he even offered to pay and buy the kids pizzas because they were having a sleep over. then he went on his way. and hardly even looked at me. i deserve to be critisized, it finally hit me. that the perfect guy i had all along, and i took him forgranted, twice. this time i am not going to try and weasel my way back, hes way to good for me. always was. i just want him to find a way better woman, and hopefully it will break my heart because it deserves to be broken.

Marc878 Posted December 9, 2018 Posted December 9, 2018 Sounds like "Greener Grass Syndrome". You didn't know what you had until it was gone. Sounds like he's fully detached. You'll both be fine long term. There is no one and only. That's a myth. Learn and apply it. That's all you can do.
