HopelessNick Posted November 23, 2018 Posted November 23, 2018 At work, we've got a group chat. 6 people in it. I pranked a girl one time and it was hilarious. Anyway, that girl asked for help in the group chat (Not to anyone in particular). I replied saying there's a program that could work but I'm too busy to help her. She said, "Thanks I'll try" and then I said "I promise it's not a prank." She said "How can I trust you?" and I said, "Don't then. Your loss." She replied "". Then another girl said "Lovers quarrel" and she said "No it is not!". A guy said "someone's in denial" and the girl replied ";)". What do you guys make of that?
Kelliousme Posted November 23, 2018 Posted November 23, 2018 Can't really make anything out of it. She kindly said thanks when you proposed a solution to her problem. She didn't ask you in particular, she asked the whole group. Her "How can I trust you?" was a respond to your "I promise it's not a prank". Honestly though, if I was interested in a guy I wouldn't say, "How can I trust you?". Then after that you guys pretty much got shipped and made fun of lol. Her respond doesn't really indicate any interest towards you. But I can definitely say she doesn't hate you lol. Otherwise she wouldn't have winked at the end. God if someone made fun of me and a guy I disliked, I would freak and say HELL NO! I'd roll my eyes instead of winking LOL!
smackie9 Posted November 23, 2018 Posted November 23, 2018 it's workplace banter....everyone giving each other the elbow...don't read too much into it. Remember you pranked her....this could be her pranking you back.

It was like a wink, but had a tongue out whatever that means.
Author HopelessNick Posted November 29, 2018 Author Posted November 29, 2018 I think she got angry at me today. Not sure. We were all having a chat in the group chat except her as she was busy. She then wrote a question asking for serious advice on some work she was doing. I said "Boo for changing the subject," and she replied, "Sorry. Didn't read the messages. Some of us have work to do, Nick." Thoughts on that? Cheers

It just sounds like a bunch of mindless teenage chatter going on at 'work' while I sit at the drive-through window waiting for you guys to bring me my order.
