I came across this model type girl on Instagram. I followed her, she followed back. I was surprised because she has over 6000 followers and only following 500 people. We start liking each others photos, eventually start talking. I flirt and she's into it. Say's she would love to come to my city and I'll show her around.

But all of the sudden I find out she's seeing someone. She doesn't post any pictures of him, and the dude has been watching my IG stories, so I'm guessing he's suspicious of something. TBH the dude seems like a dork trying to act cool, lol.

My friends say I have a chance, if I make a move, but don't know if I should knowing her situation. What should I do?

Just leave it.

"Maybe I am insecure. One of my exes had guys commenting on her pics all the time. I did my detective work & found out she was sleeping with them. It was easy getting into a relationship with her too. What also bothers me is that she likes all these guys photos.

I've been with several girls like this. People always say I attract that certain type." - one of your posts.

This girl has a man and is flirting with you like there is no tomorrow. The guy has every right to be suspicious, these types of girls are never good at hiding it. Yet you are calling him a "dork who is trying to act cool". You really do come off as insecure. Work out the reason why girls like that attract you.

What's the flirting? How do you know she is into it? Does she flirt back? Or is she just being friendly?

Posted

Corduroy, she's got 6000 followers....and if she's hot, then a lot of them will be male followers who are attracted to her. With this much competition, why would she choose you? She's never met you, she's not in your city and you're just one of a few thousand guys who is keen on her. The flirting she does is about keeping her numbers up - it's like how wait staff are always pleasant so they get a tip and keep their jobs.

As far as her boyfriend goes, don't you think it's a bit churlish to be criticising him as you've done?

Really not trying to be rude - just sending a reality check your way. Find a regular girl who is single and who can spend time with you.

None of this really means anything until you spend time with her in person, face to face. If and when that happens, and she still shows interest in going further, then you have a decision to make. Until then do as you please.

She’s probably one of those ig models that is expecting you to pay for her ‘trip’... tread carefully.....

Of course she is seeing somebody. Do you think that she’s just going to randomly tell one of her Instagram followers who she doesn’t even know that she’d like to come to his city and meet him? She probably does that all the time just to get people to follow her. I don’t know too much about Instagram but cant people be Instagram models for a profession? Can’t they make money off of it? It’s like part of her job to flirt with you. Find a real girl who isn’t a model and who lives in your town.

You've never met her in person and you're already sure this is a girl you want? Are you sure you want a girl who flirts with other men while she has a BF?

Like everyone else here, I highly doubt she's really interested in you. Probably just being "nice" and "flirty" to gain/keep followers. How else do you think she's got 6000 of them?

Posted

You don't know anything about this girl other than the fact that you think she is hot. Thats nothing - you are only one of 6,000 who feel that way.

If she has a boyfriend, you should respect that. If the roles were reversed, you would want the same kind of respect for yourself.

I wonder if it is all some kind of Scam and him and her are working together on it,...you are just their next "mark".

Okay TBH, she's not a model, all her pictures are selfies & whatever. She just looks like one. Yeah there's literally 1000's of guys hitting on her, but doe's she follow them back, no. I post on my IG story all day, everyday, she's always the first one to view it. You can call me crazy, but when a girl likes me, she likes me. I've met a lot of girls on Instagram, we hooked up, and eventually had relationships.

You can always give it a try if you want, don't be too disappointed if she turns you down.

Posted

If she needs a guide to the local hotspots when she's in town, you're the man. Else, IG other ladies, date and hook up as usual. Cream rises to the top.

What would you want us to tell the guy who has designs on your "IG model" girlfriend (and thinks you're an idiot wuss who has no friends who can throw hands) and wants our help to lure her away from your relationship with her?

Posted

She may be the girl you want but if she has a BF & 6,000+ followers, even though she talks to you, you are not the boy she wants. That dude is already her BF. Don't be a homewrecker. For all you know the BF is fake, a lie made up just to make you stop pestering her without losing the ego stroke she enjoys from your flattery. If you learn she's single, ask her out but for now just keep on following her & enjoying your virtual interactions. Despite your other successes through IG, it's unlikely this one will materialize.

If you're such an Instagram Cassanova, why are you asking us and your friends for advice?

I think she's just enjoying the attention, but let's spin this another way.

If you get a girl that flirts with other guys when she has a bf, then you become the jealous, paranoid bf.

Agreed, 6000 horny guys and counting, think she is "hot" and they will all think the OP is "a dork trying to act cool..."

That’s what I’ve been thinking. I’ve been in that position before, and it sucks tbh. But I don’t know how serious of a relationship they have, they don’t have any pictures together...

All this relationship stuff is going to become stardust in the end anyway. We are a part of the Universe, just as the Universe is a part of us. I would prefer spending as much of the limited time I have with real people as I can, rather than wondering whether a woman on Instagram likes me. That's a waste of a limited slice of the space-time continuum. Date, get rejected, rinse, repeat and learn the lesson from the previous rejection. Your carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, and nitrogen atoms will become carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, and nitrogen atoms whether you date girls or you wonder on instagram whether the women like you or not. I only made the mistake of online infatuation once, and I'm very happy with making the mistake only once.

Been in your shoes bro - she likes the attention, that it.

I'd move on. Triangles aren't fun.

Until her "boyfriend" puts a ring on it, she's fair game.

That is called cheating.

OP, are you a cheater? Because this is how cheaters justify cheating.

Never cheated in my life. But there's always a first time for everything.
