When a girl says to you, "I don't know what you see in me" how does one respond to that appropriately?

I would tell her exactly what's on your mind without mind games or manipulation. For example, I admire what you've done, or I admire that you always have a smartypants humorous remark about something, or that you really made the best of a bad situation. If you haven't been with her a long time the intimate racy stuff is obviously inappropriate. Women like to be admired for anything else other than their good looks until she is comfortable with you. I know its paradoxical, but women dress up nice and then don't like being admired by guys. You can admire the good looks when you have been with your date for a while.

We've known each for about a month now. She knows I am attracted to her, and I'm confident that it's not one sided. She's not a big texter, but she likes being around me, and says I make her smile. And I see lot more than just her looks, she's smart, caring, honest, loyal to name a few.

Then tell her to her face she's smart because of ... she's loyal because of ..., and she's caring because of ..., and bring up some admirable examples. Most ladies I know would appreciate that sort of honest well thought out comment.

Yeah, tell her she's smart and you enjoy being around her. She has some low self-esteem and doesn't feel worthy. You know what that's like, so I think you know how to make her feel better, right?
