PRW Posted October 24, 2018 Posted October 24, 2018 It surely does not. Exclusive means I'm not dating anyone else. You can be exclusive in a fwb situation. No, you can't. That is just a perversion of the meaning of the term. That is what people say who want "easy" non-commital sex while building a fence around it to keep the competition out. So I guess since we can have Casual Friends, Good Friends, and Best Friends,...now we can have CFWB, GFWB, and BFWB? It is just perverted. To some, FWB is a perversion or immoral all by itself (and I tend to agree) and that sex should only be after exclusivity,...others believe sex should only be after marriage. Trying to create more levels, divisions, and sub-divisions than your average XBox game is just an excuse to "normalize" twisted morals and behavor. A relationship mean expectations and commitment along with exclusivityNo. Exclusivitiy IS commitment. This is just BS "hair-splitting" for personal gain.

When you realize you actually like the person you may want to drop the orbiters and focus on them exclusively. That's where exclusivity begins. At this point it's way to early to commit because you still barely know them. Once youve gotten to know the person, know they're not a serial killer or married, and realize there is compatibility that goes beyond skin deep, then you commit and agree to be in a relationship. Some people move faster and some skip phases, hell some people bypass the relationship phase right into marriage. But just because you think it's excessive doesn't mean your ideology is based in reality. 1

You are saying exactly the same thing that I say on here everyday,...almost verbatim and then treating it like we disagree on it when we don't. You did not interpret my posts above in this thread correctly.
