Linda_411 Posted September 10, 2005 Posted September 10, 2005 I recently just turned 18 and I had sex with my bf a little over 5 months, was i rushing too fast, especially with him not saying I Love you and all? I don't know, like the first time wasn't even special or romantic, did I make the wrong decision?
kitkat826 Posted September 10, 2005 Posted September 10, 2005 Only you can say whether or not you made the wrong decision, no one else can determine that for you. Not any of us, and not even your bf, regardless of his actions/words. I'm sure many of us had "first times" that weren't like we had imagined, yet in the long run I don't think many people look back at that first time with regret. I remember after having sex with my bf of one month for the first time, I did have doubts. But they soon faded. Losing your virginity can take a while to deal with psychologically for some people because of all the societal pressures there are surrounding it. Personally, I don't think five months is "too soon"; however, if you really don't feel comfortable with him and your relationship, then don't continue it. But I wouldn't focus on or worry about your first time...you'll notice in the long run that it doesn't matter. Focus on your future and where you want to be.
