shebapug Posted September 9, 2005 Posted September 9, 2005 I have been with my boyfriend for about 2 years and within the last few months it has really gone downhill. Its like I am just his roomate now adays. We never talk about anything and when I talk to him about how we need to work on fixing our relationship he gets mad and says he doesnt want to talk about it. He never wants to talk about anything important. I have felt at times he doesnt love me that much. I try so hard to comprimise and be strong and supportive for him but I dont get any of that in return. He never takes the time to show me he loves me, however he swears that he does. Deep down I know he does but do you think this is normal?
Art_Critic Posted September 9, 2005 Posted September 9, 2005 While realtionships do go thru their up and down cycles I think you guys are having a communication problem.. I've been there before. You could try really sitting him down.. I know you have tried but in those instances you have allowed him to control whether it happens or not.. You need to control it and tell him it is going to happen because it is real important to you .. The other thing you could try is to pull way back and see waht his reaction is.. He may ask you if there are any problems or he may get scared and start talking to you .. My nickles worth
jhurtinct Posted September 9, 2005 Posted September 9, 2005 I agree with Art I think, and believe me Iknow its hard to do been there before, you should try pulling back alot to the point he comes to you and asks whats going on. If after awhile he doesn't you try again maybe by then he'll see you really need to talk because he'll be able to see somethings wrong. Just don't let it go on to long something simuliar has killed my relationship, and we're still trying to bring it back to life. good luck
