Link-80 Posted September 8, 2005 Posted September 8, 2005 So I dunno if any of you read my last post, but me and my g/f were kinda going through a rocky patch of not talking on the phone that much and stuff. Well it turns out she thought we didn't talk enough in person (how I love blogs), and she read mine and saw my concerns. Basically what I wanted was her to open up to me and realize I'm not going to leave her because of something i find out about her past, and what she wanted was for me to be her best friend that she could have fun with, and not just her boyfriend. Gradually it's getting there, we go out more to just be friends and do friend stuff, and she confides in me when somethings bothering her. The conversations don't even die anymore. Do you think this is the real beginning, that before was still us feeling our way to each other? I was getting doubtful, but ever since we talked about it, I really think this has a chance to last. Any thoughts on the situation are appreciated. Thanks guys!
fundamental Posted September 11, 2005 Posted September 11, 2005 Personally, I think it's the right step to saving the relationship. As long as you still have an attraction for each other, and understand that you both are working on your friendship, then things should go well.
Author Link-80 Posted September 12, 2005 Author Posted September 12, 2005 Oh I see. We still have an attraction, thought things still seem to nowhere sometimes...but I think it's getting better.
