shydad Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 Hi all, user "Texting" asked a question which got me thinking. At what point could a person be considered a girlfriend or boyfriend? There isn't any right or wrong answer of course, just general opinion. What do you think? I'm really curious about this because I've never actually thought about it. When it ends is obvious. Once she is your fiance, she's no longer your girlfriend, but when does it start? In my own experience, I was so obsessed with my son's mom, all I could think about was her first name. Then, after she said "yes", I loved to tell people she was my fiance, but not once, ever, did I say "this is my girlfriend". It just never occurred to me. Possibly this is because there is no clear answer. If she says "yes", BOOM, she's your fiance, but girlfriend? That's much harder to define, I think. Thoughts?
alphamale Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 you are boyfriend & girlfriend when you both agree that you are boyfriend & girlfriend 1
coolheadal Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 1. Friends 2. GF or BF 3. Engaged 4. Married The rest is negative so I would put down 5... But in any case you'll always be friends throughout your lives even if you never married and just live together.
