marxman2015 Posted September 20, 2018 Posted September 20, 2018 I can sense that a girl coworker has interest in me since a year ago, she would compliment me and stuff. After we have been chatting more, she starts to give me BLATANT interest signals in recent 2-3 months (even people around her notice and tease her on that, problem is i am taken (she knows it) so I won't make a move. Now she has stopped giving me signals, does it mean I am out forever? If one day I end up available, should I ask her out? Assuming she did have a crush on me, will girls who has given up on their crush, someday in the future, gets their interest reignited?
d0nnivain Posted September 20, 2018 Posted September 20, 2018 If you are taken what difference does it make? Since you are asking about a future with this colleague, it sounds like your relationship is temporary to you. Does your partner know you aren't thinking long term? This sounds more like getting your ego stroked, It's unfair of you to expect this colleague to continue flirting with you when you are not reciprocating. Especially at work, it'd demeaning for her. Unrequited "love" is painful for the one doing the longing. Stop torturing her. Be happy her interest has waned. 1
