I went out last night to the bars, I was standing outside and I noticed there was this guy and a girl that were standing there talking, not sure if they were a couple, someone tapped me on the shoulder, I turned around and the guy and the girl-both pointed hands at each other like saying that he/she tapped me on the shoulder, the guy then pointed at the girl that he was with, and said, "She thinks your hot." Then she immediately went back to their group of friends and so did he. Was this guy hitting on me or was this typical bar crap talk?

One of them is trying to get the other in trouble. I had a roommate who used to grab guys' butts and pretend it was me, which I did not appreciate.

Possibly. But let's say that he was trying to hit on you, would you really be interested in someone who is so immature? Forget it. And move on...

Yeah, I'm really starting to HATE the idea of going to the bars on Saturday nights now, and the type of people that I encounter.

There could be a range of possiblities. It's entirely possible (and likely) that the two are platonic friends. He might have found you attractive and trying to hide behind his friend. She might be a lesbian/bi and found you attractive (thus he was being truthful). Or they are in fact a couple and wanted you for a threesome. Or... well you get the point, you just don't know.

 

Either way, it was a bit wimpy and childish of them to behave like that. At the very least they needed to follow through on their approach. I think one of them certainly was trying to hit on you, but they got nervous and failed miserably.

Where do you live? I went to Vegas and swingers tried to holla at me.

 

If he was trying to holla, 6th grade called and it wants it's pickup lines back!
