It's not the end of the world and I think You'll find someone better suited for you.

Thanks everyone for the advice! The house sold in one day after listing, so just have to wait until it closes. I’ve lawyered up and filed a lawsuit to recover the ring. Things seem to be moving along to get myself free and clear of anything related to her and her family

It’s sad it ended that way but great that some things are going smoothly now. You don’t need anymore worries.
