Linaa Posted September 11, 2018 Posted September 11, 2018 I’ve heard of guys taking girls that they just talk to but don’t date to Miami or taking girls to places like Miami just to have sex with them but it’s no serious commitment. Then it’s some guys that claim their committed to the girl and they’ll go on vacation with them to Miami, Vegas etc but they still text other girls lol. So I was just wondering to do some people still think vacations with someone of the opposite sex means you care for them. At least I use to think that’s what it meant lol.

But then again, I would never agree to a sex trip with a man I was not dating... Nor, would I go on a vacation with a man who is texting other women... I have certain expectations for a relationship, and this doesn't meet my expectations. 1

Two people who are just causal can be casual at home or in another location; that doesn't mean they are committed to each other beyond the confines if the trip. If you want exclusivity & a solid commitment, have a relationship like that. If you are looking for a good time, enjoy. Don't criticize somebody else's choice because it's not yours but similarly don't change your fundamental desires to suit somebody else's wants. 2
todreaminblue Posted September 12, 2018 Posted September 12, 2018 (edited) In my life and world yes vacations are very special...such a treat and a luxury.....lol...from experience ...i get butterflies when i am planning a vacation....maybe because i have the heart of a wanderer and feel tied down...when i am not travelling or moving around from place to place......but yes vacations for me are normally with those i truly love...and i try to make them very very special...i have only gone on vacations with lovers and family and very close friends.....i so love the great outdoors...the places and faces...its a way to my wanderer heaRT....VACATIONS ARE WHERE I FALL IN LOVE WITH LOVE AGAIN...alo tof people fall in love on vacations.....and its the freedom i feel the vibe of a vacation...its joyful...love is joy ...joy is love.....vacations are normally joyful....can you feel my excitement ...my heart is skipping discussing a vacation...lol...smilin....large..........DEB Edited September 12, 2018 by todreaminblue 1

If it's a casual couple that's just having fun, then no, it doesn't mean more. If it's a committed couple in a relationship, then yes, it's a special time. A vacation is not a measurement of commitment in and of itself. 3

Your question is predicated upon the two people already being in a relationship. Taking a vacation with someone of the opposite sex, while yes they can care about you, doesn't necessarily mean they want a full blown relationship with you. Is there someone who won't take you to Miami for whatever reason? 1
