The 'other' biological clock

Recommended Posts

I notice that some people who used to be very active got injuries when younger, and they ended up in a much worse physical shape than those who didn’t play nearly as many sports.

JuneL, if your post was referring to those of us getting on in our years and mobility is somewhat restricted because of sports injuries that occurred in our earlier years - I'll agree...to an extent. Which may be why nospam is having trouble finding an active partner. That said, I've had more broken bones and tears and sprains than the average woman from sports and I wouldn't give up physical activity unless my doctor presented a life or death ultimatum (i.e. complete bedrest or you die WDID).

OP, I totally get that biological clock. I hear it ticking loudly every day. Men in my dating world just want to watch TV. A few have motorcycles and that's ok too. It's tough to find someone that wants to to hiking or mountain biking (not extreme sports - no more broken bones for me LOL). Next I'm going to join an active Meetup group. Still not the same as sharing with your partner but it's important to not give up hope. Even at our 'advanced' age.
