sapphirerose Posted August 20, 2018 Posted August 20, 2018 (edited) Hi, I’d love to get your opinion on something. I’m 23 and work part-time at a large retail store. Okay... I feel very attracted to a younger male co-worker (aged 19). I haven’t really crushed on someone younger before, so this is a bit strange for me. This guy is kind, intelligent, considerate and mature for his age. He studies medicine, lives out of home and is supporting himself financially. We talk quite a bit at work (mostly about work-related topics). We also laugh/joke around a fair bit. Sometimes when we talk, he stumbles over his words and seems quite nervous - it’s so cute. I often catch him looking at me, and he smiles and then looks down. When we walk past each other, he locks eyes with me and smiles, too. Often, I find him suddenly hanging around my section of the store, and then he approaches me to talk. Lately, he seems a bit more quiet around me than usual though. I should mention he was very surprised when he found out I was 23. He said he thought I looked 19-20. Maybe I’m too old for him. Maybe I shouldn’t even be considering getting involved with a coworker at all. What are your thoughts? My attraction towards him is growing - I just have no clue whether it might be mutual.
