Should I be concerned?

I got a number from this girl after only two messages on POF. That right there was pretty suspicious to me. Then almost immediately she deleted her profile. She said she is overseas right now and that also made me suspicious but she said she is coming back in ten days. She did not ask me for money and she sent pictures of her. She is not on social media, and I asked where she works and its a real place near me where the city also checks out from her profile. We've been texting since and she is pretty interested and responsive, we've even done the whole 'good night' and 'good morning' texting thing. I'm still not sure if she is real (I guess i won't be convinced until we chat on the phone or meet in person) but I'm going to give her time. Should I be concerned she's a fake?

You are being a fool....already this catfish person has you so hooked, that you have to come here for an opinion. Like I always say if it doesn't feel right, then it's not.

 

 

 

 

You are wasting your time....they don't usually ask for anything until they know you are madly in love, like so in love that you are willing to do anything to be with them....that's when the scam really starts.

She's traveling in what country? What job she says she's doing?

 

Are her pictures really good like too good to be true?

 

 

The scams all have the same type of story. They say they're engineer or doctors or humanitarian. They're a few days away from coming back home. They send you pictures and they're looking very attractive, then their return is being delayed, they're running into problems, they're money is frozen and they're stuck somewhere. Once one of those scam told me he was a military on his way back from middle east and he had no fix address so he wanted to know if he could ship some personal effects to my address.................ya right.

You should be concerned.

 

Want to know if she is a real person or not? Ask to talk on the phone with her when she returns. Or Skype. She'll either go poof or come up with an excuse as to why she can't do either. If she has excuses, run.
